Daydreamer (Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows
Daydreamer is a short RPGMaker horror game.
Fall asleep and explore a short dream, before waking up and trying again.
Delve into a world of strange daydreams and nightmares as you reach deeper into your subconscious.
The horror in this game relies less of scary imagery but more on atmosphere and music. There is still some creepy imagery in this game, but the focus is on the atmosphere and the feeling that the game is trying to give you.
This game's central gameplay loop relies on reopening the game several times.
Once the game closes itself, reopen it and see what happens!
This game is currently just a short demo, and is a small and casual project I made for fun.
If it's not obvious, this game was (partially) inspired by Yume Nikki.
If you like that game, along with other games like OMORI and One Shot, and generally like strange dreamlike horror stuff, then I think you'll like this game.
Music was made by me, along with custom spritework. This game does use a few default RPGMaker assets currently.

Thank you for playing my game! Although you missed 2 thirds of it lol. If you reopen the game you can try out the other two doors.
